Client Engineer

As a Client Engineer, you will be responsible for the game client, as well as world-building tools for our game development pipeline.

Tools Engineer

Reporting to the Lead Client Engineer, you will create the tools and pipelines needed for us to build our rich, massively multiplayer worlds. You will work closely with art and design to understand their needs, and then translate those needs into robust, efficient tools and processes. The role is challenging and requires a collaborative, service-oriented mindset.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years relevant work experience
  • Shipped at least one AAA title as a tools engineer
  • Passion for tools development
  • Strong understanding of C# and/or C++
  • Ability to communicate with other humans
  • Self-motivated
  • Desire to mentor and educate other engineers
  • Passion for video games

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced understanding of game content pipelines
  • Experience with Unity and/or Unreal
  • Experience with content authoring tools (Maya, Substance, Motion Builder, etc.)
  • Prior development with relational and non-relational databases
  • Experience with massively multiplayer online games with large worlds
